The Palm Beach County Beekeepers will be present at the Bee-In at the
Anne Kolb Nature Center, in Hollywood Florida June 24 from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the air conditioned Mangrove Hall, located at 751 Sheridan Street. Admission is free and open to the public.
This cooresponds with National Pollination week
June 24-30. It also commerates the release of the Pollination stamp by the US Postal Service.
Brendhan will be doing a 30 minute presentation at the event at 1:00pm
The Palm Beach County Beekeepers will be doing a presentation at the Okeeheelee Summer Camp on July 25. Times to be confirmed tenatively around 1pm.
Palm Beach County Beekeeper member extraordinaire Leonard Kahn will be doing a live presntation of exploring and understanding of the hive. The presentation is on July 14 at noon at 6399 Royal Palm Beach Blvd. You must bring a face cover. Gloves are optional.
Visit will include a detailed explanation of the hive frames when seen and the work being done by the bees within each hive. As Leonard explained it:
